Do I actually get to take the animal home with me?
No. The Adopt-An-Animal program is a symbolic adoption. All of the animals at Animal World & Snake Farm Zoo will remain at the zoo. For more information on why wild animals aren’t good pets, click here.
Am I going to be the only adoptive parent of my animal?
No. It takes many people to help provide care of the animals at the zoo! The more adoptive parents we have, the more resources we have to continue providing the highest-quality care for the animals.
How long does my adoption last?
Your adoption will last one year. You are always able to renew your adoption annually.
